1867: Arthur Tew

   

Arthur Tew, Blenheim

Born in Warwick, England around 1822, Arthur Tew lived on Lot 11, Concession 11, Blenheim Township. He served on Blenheim Township Council as Reeve in 1864, 1867-1867 and 1871 and was elected Warden in 1867. 

Considered one of the early pioneers in the Township, Arthur Tew passed away in Washington, Ontario on April 20, 1917 at the age of ninety-five. He is buried in Conworth Cemetery, Brant County.
