1893: D.R. Calder
D.R. Calder, East Nissouri
Born about 1838 in West Zorra Township, Donald R. Calder served as Deputy Reeve of East Nissouri Township in 1889 and would serve as Reeve from 1890 to 1894. He was elected Warden in 1893. In addition, he served as Township Clerk and Treasurer from 1876-1880 and Clerk from 1894-1896.
He married Elisa McDonald on February 3, 1865 and lived on the east ½ Lot 17 Concession 11, where they raised their four children. Donald R. Calder passed away on March 3, 1904 and is buried in the Kintore Presbyterian Cemetery.
