1903: Samuel R. Wallace

  

Samuel R. Wallace, North Norwich, South Norwich, Norwich

Born in Ireland around 1845, Samuel Robert Wallace served as Deputy Reeve for North Norwich Township from 1894-1995. From 1901-1904 he served as County Councillor for Division No. 5 North Norwich, South Norwich and Norwich and was elected County Warden in 1903. 

He Lived on Lot 18, Concession 1, North Norwich Township before moving to Burgessville, Ontario in his later years, and was a charter member of the Otter Mutual Fire Insurance Company. He would pass away on December 9, 1937 and is buried in the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
