1909: H.S. Moore

   

H.S. Moore, Norwich

Born in Norwich, Ontario on May 6, 1848, Henry Sutton Moore worked as a grain buyer and served as Postmaster for the Village for almost 30 years. On June 17, 1879 he married Cordelia A. “Creddie” Stover in a ceremony conducted by the Order of the Society of Friends. 

He was elected Reeve for the Village of Norwich from 1907-1909 and was elected County Warden in 1909. 

H.S. Moore passed away on April 16, 1921 and is buried in the Norwich Village Cemetery.
