1910: William Forbes

  

William Forbes, West Zorra

Born on March 17, 1856, William Forbes served as a Councillor of the West Zorra Township Council from 1906-1907 and served as Deputy Reeve in 1908. From 1909-1910 and served as Reeve for the Township and in 1910 was elected County Warden. His father, Robert Forbes, also served as Deputy Reeve for the Township, as well as a Justice of the Peace. 

A retired farmer, once living near Braemar, William Forbes passed away, in the city of Woodstock, on February 25, 1930 and is buried in the North Embro Cemetery.
