G.J. Cook, West Oxford

Born in 1855 in West Oxford Township, George J. Cook was a longtime farmer near Beachville, Ontario. He served as Reeve for the Township from 1910-1912, and was elected as Warden for the County in 1912; a position his father Gordon H Cook held in 1875.
