1938: Charles Milton
Charles Milton, Blenheim
Born September 29, 1893, Charles Thomas Milton worked as the manager of the Ontario Concentrated Milk Producers’ Association. In March 1917, he married Marjory Mary Sulston in Gobles, Ontario.
He served as Deputy Reeve for Blenheim Township in 1934 and was elected Reeve for the Township from 1935-1938. In 1938, he was elected Warden for the County of Oxford.
He was a former Vice-President of the Ontario Hog Producers, President of the Oxford Trustees and Ratepayers Association and served as a chairman of the Princeton Village Trustees. In addition, he also served as a member of the Executive of the Oxford County Federation of Agriculture and the Oxford Children’s Aid Society.
Charles Milton passed away at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on February 14, 1980 and is buried in the Princeton Cemetery.
