1945: A.D. McCorquodale
A.D. McCorquodale, East Nissouri
Born in 1890 in East Nissouri Township, Alexander D. McCorquodale served as Deputy Reeve from 1941-1942 and Reeve from 1944-1945. In 1945, he was elected County Warden.
In 1923 he married Etta Viola Skinner and they lived on a farm at Lot 13, Concession 14, near Lakeside, where they raised their five children. He was a member of the Knox United Church in Embro, a member of the Thistle Lodge A.M. & A.F., Embro and was a Past President of the Zorra Caledonian Society. He passed away in 1965.
