1979-1980: Kenneth Webster
Kenneth Webster, Tillsonburg
Born in 1930, Kenneth Webster served on Tillsonburg Town Council for a number of years. He first served on County Council as Deputy Reeve of Tillsonburg from 1966-1967. He served as Reeve from 1968-1972, and following Restructuring served as Councillor from 1975-1980. On December 13, 1978 he was elected County Warden on the 1st Ballot for the 1979-1980 term.
A longtime member of St. John’s Anglican Church and Choir, he was also part of the Tillsonburg Senior’s Choir, in his later years. He represented Tillsonburg on the Long Point Region Conservation Authority and was a member and Past Master of the King Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 78, Tillsonburg.
Ken passed away in his 90th year, on September 22, 2019 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and is buried at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
